Reviews / Customers / Admin

That tutorial will explain you how the "Reviews/Comments" feature works

1. The user on the ecommerce website has the ability to use the product review feature.

Once on a product description page the visitor of your ecommerce website can leave a product review. He just will have to click on the "reviews" link at the bottom of the page or in the "reviews box".

The user doesn't have to be registered on your website to use that feature but you will have to "approve" each review to allow it to be displayed on your ecommerce website. (see 2.)

The user leaves the details such as firstname, surname, comments and a note.
Once the review finished the visitor click on "continue" and he is notified that his review will be displayed only after been approved.

2. One a new review left on your website you will receive a mail telling you that you have received a new review on your ecommerce website and that you need to approve it.

The admin of the e-commerce website then goes to the admin panel in the "catalog -> reviews" section.

You can see the status of the review with the small icon (red) not yet accepted, green (approved).
To edit a review just click one time on it to highlight it then a menu appear on the right hand side, "edit" if you want to change to content of the review, "delete", and "approve". Once approved the status of the review change (green light) and the review display on the e-commerce website.

The visitor of the ecommerce website can read all the reviews previously left by other users. He just has to click on the "reviews" link at the bottom of the product description page.
